From advice to legal defence and amicable conflict resolution
Amaury defends employers and employees alike, using his experience to find solutions tailored to his clients’ needs. He divides his time between advisory services, the drafting of contractual agreements relating to employment and conflict resolution. He defends the interests of his clients before the Belgian courts and through out-of-court settlements.
Amaury has a huge capacity for analysis, which he combines with his many years of experience to provide his clients with highly effective support.
“Labour regulations in Belgium are now so complex that employers and employees require almost constant support. Solutions generally exist to ensure that labour relations run smoothly. However, they are more often than not ignored by both parties before a dispute erupts,” he explains. “It is rare, especially for employees, to understand the importance of consulting a lawyer before signing an employment contract rather than after a contract has been terminated.”
Since 2016, Amaury is also a deputy judge at the Employment Tribunal of Hainaut and is a member of the Association des Juristes Praticiens du Droit Social. Amaury is the author of several doctrinal articles about labour law.
