AVENS Brussels was established in 1997 under the name of MCW. The law firm MCW has continuously built upon its founding principle: to offer a pool of expert skills in all its legal activities so that clients can rely on a single structure for optimum management of all their legal problems. From the outset, our lawyers have worked together to offer a multidisciplinary service capable of resolving complex legal issues. This spirit continues to guide our approach today.

MCW has never ceased to evolve and renew its practice to respond in the most relevant, comprehensive, and effective way to our clients’ legal challenges. It has been recognized as one of the most innovative law firms by peers and was a finalist in the Innovation Incubator prize of avocats.be in 2017 and 2018.

In October 2023, MCW becomes AVENS Brussels, thereby strengthening its collaboration with other law firms that are members of the Concerto network, namely Avens Paris, Avens Milan, and Avens Montreal. This new alliance consolidates the international service Avens Brussels strives to offer, while maintaining a personalized contact with each of its clients.
