Thierry has been a tax lawyer for many years. He studied law at Namur, UCL and Ichec. After completing his military service, he began training as a tax lawyer at a renowned fiduciary firm, formerly known as Fiduciaire de Belgique, which was later taken over by Deloitte. After four years, he was called to the Brussels Bar and became a lawyer in 1994. He has been a partner in various Belgian and international law firms.
With a passion for tax law, and a natural talent for figures and accounting, he has built a solid experience in corporate and personal taxation, particularly international cases.
With his specialised tax training, Thierry helps his clients to structure their assets and advises them on managing their tax problems. He regularly assists companies with the restructuring of their operations. He also works with the authorities to reach agreements on behalf of his clients.
In addition, he works closely with families to guide their choices regarding their estates and is in regular contact with banks and the authorities for advice on tax compliance and the best tax structuring.
Thierry is convinced that dialogue and negotiation are essential in resolving potential conflicts. He places great importance on listening and open discussions with both the authorities and his clients.
